About Me
I have a deep passion to help grow companies and people to fulfill their maximum potential. I do this by listening to their individual needs and concerns and developing and implementing plans to get these companies to the next level. I love what I do!
Professional experience in a wide variety of settings and industries prepared me to be able to offer insights and solutions to a wide and deep array of issues.
My career began at an accounting firm, as I worked to put myself through college. I continued there after graduation in my first professional role as a staff accountant. After advancing to manager, the youngest in the company, I realized there were limited opportunities to grow and further contribute in the small company.
I was subsequently hired by a Fortune 500 company as a division controller. I made considerable contributions and material improvements to processes at the organization, realizing profit growth while learning much about navigating typical delays and red tape in large company review and approval processes.
When the opportunity presented itself to be part owner of a small electrical subcontractor, I quickly realized that there was substantial room in the market for accelerated growth. I joined the team and within 11 years we grew the company to be the 9th largest electrical subcontractor in the nation. My time spent there was both rewarding and educational. Lessons learned as well as increasing focus on process efficiency built a solid foundation for business acumen and problem identification. My time there ended with the sale of the company.
Later, I was a co-owner, managing member and CFO of an IBM Business Partner. We grew this company to over $30,000,000 in 11 years. My partners wanted to take the company in a different direction, so my shares were purchased by my partners.
I then worked for several specialty contractors that I helped grow and develop into much larger entities. Through all these varied experiences, my portfolio of solutions and successful business strategies grew and prepared me to consult and advise on a wide array of business challenges.
